Tell Us About Your Garage Door

Send a few details and we'll come back with the next step. The more you tell us about the door, the tighter the estimate.

Our limits

What We Do Not Take On

We work on garage doors and the hardware that runs them - springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, and panels. We don't do garage conversions, general carpentry, or structural framing, and we don't touch electrical work beyond the opener's own wiring.

Remodel jobs excluded

If your door is part of a bigger remodel, we can quote the door portion but you'll need a separate contractor for the rest. We also won't quote a repair over the phone if the door is more than about 20 years old and we haven't seen it in person.

Housing built 1968-2000

A lot of the housing stock around Everett and the surrounding 36 areas we cover - Snohomish, Mukilteo, Machias, Silver Firs, and the rest out to Arlington and Monroe - went up between 1968 and 2000, with a lot of it dating to the 1980s and 90s.

Guessing discontinued part numbers

Doors from that era often use hardware that's been discontinued, and guessing a part number over the phone leads to a wrong quote and a second trip. We'd rather tell you we need eyes on it than give you a number we can't stand behind.

Our team

Who Does the Work

We don't run a sales team that hands jobs off to subcontractors. The person who answers your call and the person who shows up with the parts are working off the same information, which cuts down on the back-and-forth where details get lost between the quote and the repair.

We're based at 2817 Wetmore Ave in Everett, and our service area runs out through the towns in F10 - places like Mukilteo, Machias, Lake Stickney, Silver Firs, Martha Lake, Cathcart, and out to Arlington and Monroe at the edge of our range. We don't claim to have worked in every one of those towns for any particular length of time. What we can tell you is what we work on and where we'll drive.

Common jobs

What We Are Called Out For

Most calls fall into a short list: a torsion spring that's let go, a cable that's jumped the drum, an opener that runs the motor but won't move the door, or rollers and hinges worn enough that the door shudders on the way up.

Winter wear on hardware

Cold, damp winters here put real wear on exposed hardware and on openers left to work harder than they should, and a door that's fine in August can start sticking once the weather turns. Household incomes across our service area run a median of $116,095, and a lot of households here own rather than rent - about 81,308 owner-occupied houses out of roughly 140,774 households total.

Owner chooses repair or replacement

That matters for one practical reason: an owner deciding between a spring repair and a full door replacement is making a call about their own property, not clearing it with a landlord, so we try to lay out both options honestly rather than push the bigger job.

What we price remotely

What we can price over the phone: spring replacement on a standard size door, opener diagnosis, cable and roller work where you can describe the symptom clearly. What we can't: anything where the track is bent, the door is off its rollers, or there's visible panel damage - we need to see how far that damage runs before we'll put a number on it.

Getting Hold of Us

A gray house with a white garage door and a porch with pink flowers.

Call 14252254806 and tell us the door's approximate age, what it's doing (or not doing), and whether it's a single or double door. That's usually enough for us to give you a real estimate range before anyone drives out. If you're not sure on the age, a rough guess based on when the house was built is fine - a lot of homes in this area date to the 1968 to 2000 stretch, and that alone narrows down what kind of hardware we're likely dealing with.

Questions

Common questions

Can you give me a firm price without seeing the door?

For common jobs like a standard torsion spring swap, yes, if you can tell us the door size and symptom. For anything involving bent track, off-track doors, or panel damage, we need to see it in person before we quote a number - guessing on those leads to a wrong price.

Do you work outside Everett itself?

Yes. We cover the surrounding service area including Mukilteo, Snohomish, Machias, Silver Firs, Lake Stickney, Martha Lake, and out to towns like Arlington and Monroe at the edge of our range.

What won't you quote or take on?

We don't do garage-to-room conversions, general framing, or electrical work beyond the opener itself. We also won't quote repairs on older doors sight unseen, since discontinued hardware is common in homes built in the 1968-2000 range common around here.

Why does the age of my door matter for the quote?

Older doors, especially those from the 1980s and 90s common in this area's housing stock, sometimes use hardware that's no longer made. Knowing the approximate age helps us guess the right parts before we show up, but we still confirm in person.
